Flinders Resources close to acquirring Whim Creek SX-EW copper processing plant

FINDERS Resources has announced a five million dollar agreement with Straits Resources, giving it the option to acquire the Whim Creek SX-EW copper processing plant.

The agreement gives Flinders Resources the option to purchase the SX-EW Plant and associated equipment at any time between 1 October and 31 December 2009.

The Whim Creek SX-EW Processing Plant has a capacity of up 18,000t of copper cathode per year.

According to Finders Resources, it will also expand the existing 2000t per year demonstration plant to complete of the remainder of its Wetar Copper Project Feasibility Study.
