Hill End Gold plant production speeds up

HILL End Gold has upgraded its minerals processing plant in a bid to reduce downtime and increase throughput.

The company says that it was able to carry out the upgrade and maintenance at its Hill End gravity gold processing plant while maintaining gold recovery at an excellent 97% with no change to the process design.

Hill End Gold reported gold production at 2,110 ounces for the March 2009 quarter which was a 75% increase over the previous quarter.

The company predicts that high grade gold production at Hill End will increase during 2010.
