Southern Uranium QLD will lift ban on yellowcake mining

SOUTHERN Uranium says Queensland will have to lift its ban on uranium mining.

The exploration company says the exploration and development cycle is a lot longer and a lot more robust than the political cycle.

The company has its eye on three major sites in Queensland it wishes to exploit.

Southern Uranium says the state rides on the resources back and it will need to allow the production of yellowcake to compete.
