KSB Australia has rekeased the ZW double-suction vertical pumps series which is suitable for use in the mineral processing industry.
The series is designed to handle aggressive, corrosive and abrasive slurry applications.
KSB Australia says the pump can be used in applications, such as dewatering, floor clean-up and process transfer.
The ZW double-suction vertical pumps are made from either high chrome or duplex stainless steel parts, which ensure optimum wear resistance and corrosion resistance respectively.
KSB says the pump has unique top and bottom suction, which allows for high concentration pumping and maximum clearing of the sump, while its semi-open impeller design allows free passage for large solids.
The ZW heavy duty bearing arrangement delivers rugged service life with a wide variety of motor size options, as well as enhanced application flexibility through a V-belt or direct connected drive
