PUTZMEISTER has developed a pressure constant flow control system for its slurry pumps suitable for minerals processing in the mining industry.
The pump’s system features fast inlet stroke and slower discharge stroke. It works by allowing one cylinder to discharge while the other fills and starts its discharge stroke.
The manufacturer claims the unit’s wear rate is said to be lower at any given flow compared to pumps without the pressure constant flow system.
The supplier claims flow and pressure in the discharge line are almost constant and no damper is required.
Putzmeister slurry pumps are distributed by Stauff Pumps.
